Buzz Off: Warriors Swarm Damascus 108-78

With the potential of snow on Saturday night, there was crisp scent in the air. Howerver, the threat of snow was not the only thing that was dangerous on Saturday night...

The Sherwood Boys had ice in their veins as they faced a Damascus team short handed. The Warriors were thirsty to rebound after a tough loss to Wootton just a week earlier.

"We knew we had a good chance to win if we could get a few races to go our way" Senior Captain Calum Jagannathan said. "Starting the meet out fast was a priority and we did just that."

The Warriors were able to win the Dive event and the first relay getting out to an early lead. But back to back wins for the Hornets in 200 Free and 200 IM evened the score. Up came the 50 Free. And just as fast as the race started, it was over. Freshman Till Kreitz was off and full body legnth ahead of the competition within seconds.

"Who is this guy?"

"He is legit!!!!"

"That dude can swim!"

Kreitz slammed the door in the 50 Free and tacked on another win in the 100 Breast.

"I wanted to step up for the team. As a Freshman on a team full of upperclassman, you want to show them you can hang with them." Kreitz claimed.

Hang with them he did as his 50 Free set off a chain reaction of Sherwood wins:

Till Kreitz- 50 Free & 100 Breast

Luke Landreth- Dive

Henry Ngo- 100 Fly

Ayden Opima- 100 Free

Ian Kwon- 500 Free

Sherwood was able to put together two more relay wins and snow doubt about it, bring home the W!
